Godly

I am currently finishing music for the web series ‘Godly’, created by Yarno Rohling. The inspiration for these compositions ranged from Roman epic cinema to 90s techno. The series is set to be released in late 2026.

Flame Trees

In 2024, I composed music for the short film ‘Flame Trees’, directed by Bill Robertson. For this project, I was heavily inspired by the work of Angel Badalamenti and its otherworldly pathos. The excerpt linked below, which is the final piece heard in the film, uses a reversed violin melody against a dense blend of synthesiser and string chords to evoke that feeling.

Magic

In 2023, I worked on the musical short film ‘Magic’, directed by Bill Robertson. In addition to composing a song for the film’s opening credits, I also provided new arrangements for songs composed by the film’s writer, Jasmine Zolerick.

Bare Bones

In May of 2021, I composed music for the short film ‘Bare Bones’, directed and written by Yarno Rohling, which went on to be selected for the Canberra Short Film Festival. To complement the gothic love story told by the film, I weaved lavish, romantic string flourishes into an otherwise dark score, often utilising detuned instrumentation to further unsettle the audience.
